Job Description

The Page Coordinator supervises 40+ hourly employees (pages) who shelve and check in our collection. We are looking for an individual who will hire, coach, schedule, train, and evaluate the pages; drive the production of the paging unit; and exhibit superlative customer service while working the circulation desk. The work involves managing a large workflow of materials through the library. The successful candidate will be a leader who is capable of finding new solutions to workflow management without an increase in staff and is able to develop a teamwork environment that inspires employees to be creative in managing the workflow, work autonomously, and be progressive thinkers. In addition, this individual will work in concert with the other supervisors to contribute to the overall goals of Belmar.

Additional Info & Requirements

Must be flexible to work some evenings, weekends and minor holidays.

Belmar Library is nestled in the foothills West of Denver, just across the street from the New Urban community of BelMar, complete with restaurants, homes, apartment living, and lots of shopping. Our library is a beautiful and spacious facility in the Jefferson County library system. We circulate 80,000 items per month and have the largest number of visitors of any of our libraries. Belmar Library is community-oriented and fast-paced, with a hard-working staff committed to enhancing the lives of the people of Jefferson County.
