Job Description

The Waltz Music Library is responsible for providing library services in music to the CU-Boulder community. Its primary clientele are the students and faculty of the College of Music, but it also serves students and faculty of the Arts and Sciences and the entire University and public patrons.Its primary goal is to provide comprehensive and efficient library service in music to its patrons. Nature of Work: This position is one of the two staff responsible for daily operations of the Music Library. Major duties include circulation, reference, lead worker for student assistants, and course reserves. Additional duties include working with patrons to resolve problems with overdue or missing materials and to trace missing library materials.

Required education/experience/skills (minimum qualifications): **Only residents of the state of Colorado may apply for these positions.** Minimum Qualifications: Two years of general library experience including typing, ordering, preparing, shelving, and maintaining library materials. Substitution: Two years of course work from an accredited college or university including twelve semester hours of library science course work may substitute for two years of the general library experience.
