This position reports to Director, Application and Product Support. TLC is seeking an individual for a Product Support Specialist for its Public Access Interface products, including search engines such as CARLweb, KidsCatWeb, AquaBrowser and Endeca as well as YouSeeMore the TLC web portal, customer account services product. This is an opportunity to work as part of a team in an agile development environment focusing on the support, creation and implementation of new web based Public Access products for public libraries.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to): • Manage implementation projects as needed • Prioritize bug fixes and features for new code releases • Providing third tier support and diagnostics to existing customers • Working as part of the implementation team for new customers • Participate in QA, creation of end user and technical documentation as well as functional specifications • Provide training to new and existing customers • Work closely with other Product Support staff and the Online Support Center to provide seamless communication to customers. • Interact with 3rd party vendors as needed to provide quality support or implementation of new products and services. Skills: The following are required skills: • The desired candidate is proficient in Windows and Internet Technology • Able to write HTML and CSS • Experience with Solaris or Linux The following are preferred skills: • Ability to read code such as VBS and JSP • Understanding of Apache and IIS web servers • Basic understanding of XML • Ability to create web graphics • Some Knowledge of SQL is helpful • Knowledge of libraries and their workflow, previous experience working in or with a library a plus • Experience with Apache Tomcat
