Job Description

Adult Services Librarian Full-Time Position Rawlins, Wyoming Do you want a job with many opportunities for professional development? The Carbon County Library System is looking for a creative, energetic librarian with the desire to take adult services to the next level. Position resides at the Rawlins Library. The 40 hours/week position involves working with the programming team to develop programs for all 8 library locations. The position also involves collection development for the adult collections. The position reports to the Public Support Services Manager. The job includes a variety of evening and weekend hours. A masters degree in an ALA accredited MLS/MLIS is required. Previous library and programming experience is preferred. Candidates should have strong interpersonal and public speaking skills, organizational skills with attention to details, comfort with technology, creativity, and a solid understanding of library theory.
