Job Description

We have a FT (30 hrs/wk, but could be flexed to PT 24 hrs/wk for the right candidate) Patron Service Specialist position available at our beautiful, newly remodeled Lone Tree Library. The employee will perform a variety of advanced patron contact and library maintenance duties including actively assisting patrons with finding library materials, light reference service and reader’s advisory assistance, creating displays, creating bibliographies, and performing collection maintenance duties.

Additional Info & Requirements

Our main focus is to provide superior customer service, so top candidates must possess strong experience and skills in this area. Employee must be experienced with library operating systems, online databases and readers advisory. Position requires working on your feet for long continuous hours. Requires at least above average computer skills and experience. Also requires the ability to work some evenings and weekends. A strong background and skills in adult and/or youth literature is strongly preferred, and story time experience is desirable. Experience with creating merchandise displays is preferred.
