Job Description
The Sweetwater County Library System headquartered in Green River, Wyoming, is currently recruiting candidates for the position of Manager, Circulation/Reference Services for the White Mountain Library located in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Located in beautiful southwest Wyoming, Rock Springs is the largest city in Sweetwater County. Sweetwater County is home to 10,500 square miles of high desert adventure and offers excellent recreation opportunities, affordable housing and a variety of cultural activities to choose from. The Sweetwater County Library System has nine branch libraries and serves a diverse population of 43,806 in the southwest corner of the state.The Department Manager is responsible for the organization, management, supervision and effective functioning of the Circulation/Reference Services Department including the day-to-day management of staff in the reference and circulation departments as well as all aspects of public service, programming, public relations, grant writing, community partnerships, training and staff development in these areas.
