Job Description

Regis University Library seeks a dynamic, team-oriented librarian to participate in the development and provision of reference and information services, with a special emphasis on reference desk service (50% of work time). Responsibilities include reference and research assistance, collection development, development of online instructional and informational resources, and occasional formal user instruction in computer-equipped and traditional classrooms. This is an entry-level, 12-month ranked faculty position with a Tuesday through Saturday schedule. Some evening hours may be required.

Additional Info & Requirements

Candidates should possess a Master’s Degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited library school(or provision of evidence of substantial progress towards completion of the degree), knowledge of print and electronic reference sources in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, business, and health care, experience in classroom teaching, excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Preferred candidates will have experience in an academic library setting.
