Job Description

The Librarian I Adult Services position is responsible professional work within the City\'s Library Services Division, reporting to the Library Services Coordinator. Primary responsibilities include providing Reference and Readers’ Advisory services at the Irving Street Library and might work occasionally at the College Hill Library. Duties also include selection of materials for the adult nonfiction and Spanish collections, coordinating computer programs for adults, and creating material displays. Incumbent will be required to work some evenings and weekends. This is a 32 hour per week, benefited position. Hours will be weekdays, including one evening and either Friday or Saturday each week.
