Job Description
Wilkinson Public Library in Telluride, Colorado, is one of only 30 libraries in the U.S. that has achieved a five-star Library Journal ranking for five consecutive years and is the most heavily used library per capita in the state of Colorado. The library seeks a highly experienced library administrator immediately for a temporary position until the permanent Director is hired. The ideal candidate will have proven administrative skills, strong references, outstanding people skills; and will be on the progressive side of librarianship. The town of Telluride is the county seat and most populous town of San Miguel County in the southwestern portion of the U.S. state of Colorado. Telluride sits in a box canyon. Steep forested mountains and cliffs surround it, with Bridal Veil Falls at the head of the canyon.
