Job Description
You will be the face of JCPL in the Jefferson County community. This position is responsible for providing library services, programs and access to resources for the underserved including Spanish speakers, the homeless, persons with accessibility challenges and others in Jefferson County.You will embed yourself in the community through outreach to special populations and develop and deliver programs and services to meet these needs, including the option to be “booked” by individuals and organizations for more in-depth reference assistance or to come speak to groups for education or research. Some of your time will be spent “on the floor” in a library to add to your understanding of patrons\' needs. You love meeting and inspiring new people. Strongly prefer experience working with special populations, a variety of age groups, and community groups. Strong presentation and instructional skills. Public Library experience preferred.HR Info
