Job Description
The Willmar Public Library seeks a full-time Librarian/Adult Services Coordinator. A salary range of $16.04 to $16.65 per hour will be offered plus benefits. Hours will include some evenings and weekends.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science and a minimum of two years of directly related work experience in a public or other type of library, or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience necessary to perform the essential duties of the work, is required. Preference may be given to candidates possessing a Master’s Degree and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Additional qualifications include the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, skills in customer service and public relations, knowledge of technological trends and tools (including eBooks), and experience in program planning and staff supervision.
