Job Description

The city of Aurora is seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals for a career in the Library and Cultural Services Department to fill the position of Library Clerk/Courier.

The City of Aurora will conduct ongoing screenings of applications on a first come-first serve basis; as soon as we determine to have a qualified pool of applicants, this position may close quickly and without notice.

This position performs general library circulation services to library customers; may answer or redirect occasional reference and reader’s advisory questions, and also drives a full size city van to pick up and deliver library books/materials and supplies between Library locations. 

This position works primarily at the Central Library but may substitute at other locations at times and, depending upon future staffing needs, may be re-assigned to a different primary facility.
