Job Description

This full-time, state classified Administrative Assistant II is responsible for Administrative tasks within the Health Science Library at the University of Colorado Denver, Anschutz Medical Campus. 

Specific responsibilities may include: making purchases with the University Procurement Card; assisting the Director to coordinate events that the library periodically hosts, including utilizing online scheduling systems, and utilizing Microsoft Office programs such as: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; troubleshooting printers, scanners, photocopy machines, and assisting customers who could be frustrated; collecting the cash received from four photocopy machines and two card-revalue machines; handling confidential materials/information; picking up and delivering mail; stocking offices supplies; daily building walks and reporting building issues to the Facilities Department; communicating with faculty, staff, and students, and various other duties or tasks assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
-Two years of general clerical experience. One year of this experience must have included cash handling policies/procedures.

SUBSTITUTION
College, university, or non-correspondence business school course work may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the general clerical experience but not for the one year of specific experience.

Colorado law requires that candidates for state government jobs be residents of Colorado at the time of application.
