Job Description

Performs entry-level library and Technology Center duties in the Library Technology and Innovation (LTI) Division. Responsible for the operation of broadcast equipment for the City of Loveland’s government TV Channel 16. Reports to the Library Technology Manager.

This position is budgeted for 25 hours per week and will require Tuesday evenings.

One (1) year working experience on MS Office, Internet browsers and related applications software required. Exceptional customer service abilities required.

One (1) year library experience preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience with Macintosh and mobile operating systems desired.

Working knowledge of MS Office, the Internet, and related technology. Ability to prepare materials for graphic reproduction or printing using computer software. Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment. Strong customer service skills. Working knowledge of the Dewey Decimal system. General knowledge of computer-based library systems. Knowledge of the operation, maintenance, and broadcast for the City of Loveland’s government TV Channel 16 including, but not limited to; Video switcher with a 3 camera pan/tilt system, CG and Clip store, AV routing switcher, remote desktop and tabletop microphones, presentation system using computers, LCD TVs, and distributed VGA processors. Ability to use, understand and troubleshoot a variety of AV equipment and software including but not limited to Slate 1000 switcher, Eagle Pan/Tilt system, Sierra video matrix, and broadcast channel scheduler.
