Job Description

The employees will assist patrons in retrieving library materials, provide reader’s advisory help, shelve books and other materials, give light computer assistance to our patrons, and provide support and assistance for all youth programming, including teen programs.

Additional Info & Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to excellent customer service skills, and must be an effective communicator particularly with children and teens. Experience as a volunteer with books and libraries is helpful. Must have ability to learn library procedures and library computer system. Requires ability to bend to floor level, light unloading, lifting and carrying up to 5-20 lbs, and moving full book trucks.
