BRANCH MANAGER-Commerce City Branch: Rangeview Library District, Thornton Colorado is on the edge of major expansion and we are looking for sure-footed leaders to help us grow. Voter approved funding will almost triple our resources Building 2 new 25,000 sq ft Libraries Major remodels for 4 of our current branches Located in northeast Denver, Adams County is one of the fastest growing counties in the state If you are an energetic, innovative problem solver who can provide leadership and hands-on guidance come join us for the adventure. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Commerce City Branch library which will include delivering excellent patron services, general operation, and management of full range of library services with a staff of 8 employees. We look to this role for development of outreach programs and community relationships. The Commerce City Branch is currently located in an 7,000 sq ft building and is planned to go through a major remodel in 2009 to a 10,000 sq ft building.

Additional Info & Requirements

Qualifications: MLS from an accredited college or university plus at least 3+ years of library experience including two year in supervisory capacity. Must have collection development, communication, supervisory, organizational and leadership skills.
