
The Meridian Library District is seeking a compassionate, customer service focused Assistant Manager for our Public Services Department who aspires to a user-centered philosophy. The ideal candidate is curious, flexible, and will inspire and lead a team towards excellent service. This position reports to the Public Services Manager and is located at the Main Library in Meridian, Idaho.
The Public Services Assistant Manager supervises a team of individuals in the Public Services Department, ensuring they provide consistent, dynamic, and excellent customer service to library patrons. This position assists the Public Services Manager with the daily operations of the Public Services Department including scheduling, supervising, disciplining, hiring, training, coaching, and developing staff.

Experience working with an integrated library system. Prefer 3 years of experience in a library, event planning, public service, education, retail, or customerservice related position, or similar work experience.
