An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic, highly organized, people and results oriented professional to establish and maintain partnerships with local organizations and agencies to market and raise awareness of the Library and its resources, collections, programs and services. As a member of the management team, the selected individual will be responsible for managing the system-wide marketing, community relations and media relations initiatives on behalf of the library and Friends of the library. The Manager will work with the Programming Team to ensure an ongoing well-rounded balance of programs in conjunction with various publication deadlines.
A Bachelor’s degree in a communications-related field and three years of marketing and/or communications experience required; a Master’s degree preferred. Additional requirements include three years of professional leadership and/or supervisory experience.
