Performs all duties related to managing Information Services.
Oversee Information Services so that all patrons receive excellent service in reference, reader’s advisory, regional history, business research and other topics. Plan, prepare and administer a budget for all department needs. Manage, select and evaluate print and electronic reference resources. Assist with the collection development duties of adult materials. Provide oversight for developing, conducting, and coordinating classes, events and presentations for the library district. Work with community organizations and volunteers as a resource for developing and promoting library services. Supervise Information Services staff. Participate in the Library District’s management team and maintain an expertise in providing reference and information services.
