Job Description

The position will provide general reference service assistance to patrons of all ages. Also includes a strong focus on outreach efforts. A strong patron service ethic is a must.

Additional Info & Requirements

The position requires demonstrated skills with collection development and general public reference tools including use of online databases and Internet searches. Public library reference desk and readers advisory experience is required. Some evenings and weekend hours are required. Must be able to maintain positive, team-player staff relations. General business knowledge, programming experience and public speaking experience is strongly desired. Ability to speak Spanish is a major plus. Knowledge of the latest library and technology trends is preferred.
