With the opportunity to expand our service hours before us, we are looking to fill numerous Patron Experience Associate positons.  Those positions include:

*  Library 2 You Patron Experience Associate - Home Service and Programs  (1 Full Time Position)

Library 2 You offers bookmobile service, home service delivery for the disabled, and other developing programs and services. Library 2 You serves patrons in Jefferson County by bringing library resources outside library walls to those with limited accessibility to branches either due to geographical distance, disabilities, or limiting circumstances.

*  Patron Experience Associate - Call Center (2 Part Time Positions - Bi-Lingual English/Spanish required)

The Call Center at Jefferson County Public Library provides library service to customers over the phone. It is a dynamic and busy department that is first to know about what is going on at all our libraries. The Call Center Staff is the initial contact team for patron library services and delivers consistent, quality customer service. Call Center Staff handles patron inquiries both by phone and by email.

*  Patron Experience Associate (Full Time and Part Time Positions)  - All Library Locations; availability of PT or FT dependent upon Library.  Some positions will require Bi-Lingual English/Spanish.

Patron Experience Associates at JCPL provide frontline library service to the diverse and growing residents of Jefferson County and beyond. In this position, you will provide quality library resources and excellent customer service. Helping people find the information they need – whether it be what to read next, how to download an ebook or how to find a job – is what we do all day, every day. It is a fast-paced environment where the needs of the customer come first.

Additional Info & Requirements

Up to one year direct customer service experience required.
Intermediate technical competency.
Some public library experience preferred.

Must be able to work some evenings, alternating weekends and minor holidays.

Position must comply with laws governing patron privacy and confidentiality under CRS24-90-119, and the Code of Ethics of the American Library Association, as well as ADA governing public access to space and technology.


* Offer of employment contingent on criminal background check and education verification.

* Motor Vehicle Record Check where position requires.


* Offer of employment for Spanish language fluency required positions will be contingent upon passing a fluency test.
