Job Description
The Carbon County Library System (CCLS) is seeking an experienced and innovative Executive Director to lead the library system forward into the future. CCLS is a rural eight-library system serving a population of more than 15,000 and covering 7,964 square miles in rural Wyoming. This team-oriented Director will implement progressive changes that are responsive to multi- community needs.
Additional Info & Requirements
Salary is $52,500 - $60,000, depending on experience, with benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, pension plan, paid holidays, and four weeks paid time off per year, and a moving stipend of $1500.
- Knowledge of accounting principles; knowledge of current state and federal tax and labor requirements
- Knowledge of and ability to apply effective supervisory and management techniques
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and ability to be insured
- Strong grammar and spelling skills
- Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills
- Two years of supervisory experience
- Solid understanding of library theory
- Strong computer skills including competency in Microsoft Office Suite and Web 2.0 software
- Excellent customer service skills
