Job Description
Maintains educational journal collection and its table of contents/document delivery service, Current Awareness. Coordinates preview book program. Processes interlibrary loan requests. Assists library users with accessing library resources. Performs various library clerical duties, such as checking out materials, maintaining data files, compiling reports, shelving, filing, photocopying, and distributing mail, according to standard procedures. Develops and promotes good community relations among various school and community clientele.Additional Info & Requirements
Working Conditions: Occasional bending, reaching, climbing Light physical effort (lifting up to 10 pounds) Eye/hand coordination (e.g., typing, ten-key) Normal school district environment Working alone Working with others1. Required Experience: 1 to 2 years, prefer experience in a media center 2. High school diploma or equivalent 3. Communication skills 4. Customer service skills 5. Bookkeeping skills 6. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge 7. Database searching skills 8. Library clerical skills 9. Typing proficiency of 40 WPMThe Community
