
The Whatcom County Library System is accepting applications for a full-time System Engineer position in the IT Services department. The System Engineer administers, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains local and wide area networks, servers, software, and computer and telecom equipment; provides technical support to all library staff as a member of the WCLS IT Services department; loads operating systems and other software on servers; trains staff on how to best utilize computer technologies; and performs other duties as assigned. Requires Associates Degree in a technology-related field and three or more years’ relevant experience or equivalent combination, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to speak and understand English. Full time position. $4,197 per month, plus excellent benefits. Open until filled; next application review January 18.
