Job Description

The MSEC Library Assistant is responsible for support in all aspects of the library and serves as the first point of contact for visiting library patrons. The primary duties are clerical and are associated with the maintenance of the library collection. They include ordering and processing materials, updating and maintaining the record storage and retrieval systems, and item entry into the on-line catalog. Other duties involve assisting with library requests.

Mountain States Employers Council (MSEC) is a membership association located in downtown Denver. Founded in 1939, we are a service organization whose staff acts in an advisory capacity with our members to help them maintain effective employer/employee relationships.

HR Info

Looking for library work experience which includes knowledge of library systems. Would prefer work experience with a legal emphasis and/or knowledge of human resources. Excellent customer service skills are required. Must be comfortable with computers and have experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
