Job Description

Join our team in our new Contact Center in our Philip S. Miller Library. We have two p/t (24 hrs/wk & 20 hrs/wk positions) Contact Center Technician position available. The position provides circulation, directional and other general patron service assistance to library patrons over the phone and via the Internet. The position is responsible for responding to patron contacts by listening empathetically to the patron, clarifying and assessing patron needs, and answering patron questions in a prompt and effective manner utilizing a phone system and/or multiple computer systems simultaneously.

Additional Info & Requirements

Top candidates must possess excellent patron service skills. Previous library circulation experience is strongly preferred, and call center experience is helpful. Requires at least above average computer skills and experience. Days, evenings and weekend hours are required.
