Job Description
The Community Relations Liaison position plans and coordinates branch art displays, cultural and educational programs, and events. The position assists with the development, grassroots marketing and delivery of library events for all ages, including youth, adults and seniors. This position also promotes and assists with signature events at the branch level, in conjunction with the Community Relations department, and serves as liaison between Community Relations and branch staff by disseminating information for and collecting feedback about all library events and activities. Work is performed under general supervision.

- Clearly and succinctly, communicate ideas and thoughts both verbally and in writing.
- Assist with event planning and execution as needed, which includes technology support, room set-up/tear down (tables, chairs, AV equipment, etc.), introduction of programs, and coordination of volunteer efforts.
- Plan and coordinate events. Responsible for the development, grassroots marketing and facilitation of library events and activities, in collaboration with other staff members.
- Monitor and maintain self-service scheduling and use of branch meeting and event spaces.
Starting Salary: $16.44/hour – 40 hour/week
