Rangeview Library District, Adams County Colorado is on the edge of major expansion and we are looking for sure-footed leaders to help us grow. Voter approved funding will triple our resources Building 3 new branch Libraries Major remodels for 4 of our current branches Located in northeast Denver, Adams County is one of the fastest growing counties in the state. If you are an energetic, innovative problem solver who can provide leadership and hands-on guidance come join us for the adventure. We are looking for a knowledgeable, innovative professional to provide leadership and technological expertise for our library system. The successful candidate will plan, prioritize and monitor the library IT department’s activities, as well as recommend opportunities for improving technology products and services provided to our staff and patrons. This hands-on management role will include: • Being responsible for developing the vision for the technology group as well as manage the IT functions to include System/Networking Administration, DBA, email, printers and web design. • Being a member of the administrative and management team • Developing technological strategies for a 21st century library • Coordinate efforts of external vendors • Coordinate technology training • Develop technology policy and procedures • Lead the implementation of a new Integrated Library System and coordinate the ongoing maintenance of the chosen system.Additional Info & Requirements
