Job Description
Access/Information, Inc. (A/I) has an immediate opening for a full-time library assistant. The library assistant provides administrative support for external downtown law firm clients under the direction of the staff at Access/Information. Responsibilities would include ordering and processing library materials, looseleaf filing, and updating and maintaining the libraries and library databases. In addition, the person in this position would assist with database entry and general administrative support for Access/Information, as well as searching bibliographic resources and databases, copyright resolution, public records research, and working on special projects. Good computer skills (including Word and Excel), good Internet research skills, a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as with others, and high attention to detail are expected. Coursework in library science and/or work experience in law libraries are desired. Valid driver’s license and car required.
Additional Info & Requirements
Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
