Works collaboratively with the Library Board, staff, and community to provide high quality library services for a county of 60,000+ contiguous to Louisville. Oversees all aspects of library service, including but not limited to, personnel management, fiscal management, 3 facilities, policy development and implementation, public relations, strategic planning, and carries out public service duties as needed. Responsible for the ultimate success of the Library.
Oldham County is ideally situated as a convenient suburb of Metro Louisville and an hour's drive from Cincinnati (OH). The main library building has Gold LEEDS certification and is less than 9 years old. Both branches are in need of new facilities or renovation in the near future.
