Job Description
The City of Aurora is seeking a Library Supervisor to oversee its youth services team. The selected hire will have the following responsibilities:
- Planning, implementing, and overseeing youth services programing
- Preparing reports
- Creating staffing schedules and plans
- Administering and tracking budgets and expenditures
- Providing and implementing policy and procedure recommendations
- Responding to difficult and complex customer service issues which may involve juvenile patrons
- Responsible for managing youth services staff - this includes conducting performance evaluations, coordinating training, and implementing hiring, discipline, and termination procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
