Job Description
We are looking for a customer service oriented librarian with a strong interest in local history to work with our local archives, select materials for our adult collection as well as work with our program team. If you also have a positive attitude towards working with volunteers and an aptitude for technology, this job is for you.
The Librarian is an entry level professional position with Lafayette Public Library. Librarians in this position provide high quality customer services to the library's diverse clientele. Duties may include a wide variety of potential assignments serving adults, teens, children, and community organizations. Assignments might include general public services (reference, reader's advisory, technology assistance, outreach, and programming) in both library and community settings and/or oversight of specific library activities,
