Job Description
Leslie J. Savage Library, Western Colorado University, seeks a customer service-oriented individual to join our team of library staff and student employees as Night Library Manager.
Responsibilities: Managing library operations during evening hours; managing the library’s interlibrary loan program; assisting and guiding students with their academic research; performing cataloging activities; training, supervising, and evaluating up to six student employees; transporting and re-shelving books and closing the library building.
This is a 40 hour/week, year round position. The work schedule is Sunday through Thursday nights until midnight and later during final exams. Summer hours are only until 7pm.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. Prior experience and aptitude for learning new computer applications. Experience using Microsoft Office applications. Experience working with a team of colleagues and with the public providing excellent customer service. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
