Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 
Ensure that expert friendly assistance is provided at the public computer desk, call center and at the studio. Oversee public computer and Chromebook use at the Central Library so that patrons get reliable and equitable access to Internet and computer resources. Maintain an expertise in patron technology; implement, maintain and coordinate equipment, devices and software so that patrons have access to the resources they need to learn, discover, create and connect. Manage the use and priorities of studio equipment and space with the intent of best serving the community and patrons. Coordinate classes and training for patrons on the software, hardware, and equipment available for use at the 970West Studio. Facilitate studio reservations in such a manner that it promotes equitable use of the space for all eligible patrons. Identify, coordinate and assist with content creation projects for the Library. Organize, plan, and delegate duties for the various stages of these projects within the department. Supervise staff and participate in the management team.
