Director, Ascension Parish Library (Louisiana)
The Ascension Parish Library in Louisiana is seeking a Director who will embrace working and living in a friendly, diverse and growing community. This opportunity is open due to the retirement of the current Director.
Ascension Parish is located close to Baton Rouge and about 45 minutes north of New Orleans. The area is known for its multicultural roots, great food and spirit of Southern hospitality. Ascension Parish is one of the fastest growing parishes in the state due in part to its proximity to Baton Rouge, the state capital.
The library serves approximately 124,000 residents through four locations and has the resources and support of a Board and staff who are committed to promoting its strong role in the community.
Salary $110,000 or higher, negotiable based on experience.
