Director of Library and Information Services – Rio Rancho Public Library (RRPL) Recruitment re-opened; seeking a high-energy library administrator to lead a dynamic staff in a growing Library system. RRPL is a friendly, excellent, small city library system serving close to 1,000 people a day in three new or newly renovated facilities, with 36 committed FTE staff members, a strong collection of 160,000+ items, and program attendance of 1,200+ a month. The Library Director is a member of a group of talented professionals that comprise the City’s senior management team. The director serves under the direction of the City Manager and the advice of the Library Board. Responsibilities include planning, implementation, supervision, and evaluation of all public library services, facilities, and programs. Detailed job description available on city web site.
