Job Description

The Dartmouth Library seeks a service-oriented, collaborative individual to join the Archives and Records Management team. Reporting to the Assistant Archivist for Acquisitions, the successful candidate will thrive in a team environment, analyze business practices and requirements for both paper and electronic records, and advocate for proper policies and practices that meet the administrative, fiscal, historic, and legal needs of the institution. 

Key responsibilities include: Appraisal of College records and development of retention schedules and file plans, conduct staff training on records systems and record keeping practices, assist with the development of policies related to the management and disposition of College records. Additionally, the Records Analyst will serve on the Rauner Special Collections Library Reference desk and assist with reference services related to the collections.
