Regional Branch Manager with Focus Supporting Customer Services

What You'd Do
You will be part of the Neighborhood Services Division and its team of six managers who oversee our branch locations and report to the Director of Neighborhood Services. You will be responsible for the direct oversight and management of three or more of our 25 (soon to be 26) branch locations. You approach library management with the community at the center and will bring forward their aspirations to inform library services in alignment with our values. You are an advocate for individual locations while maintaining a systemwide view while providing input to management and executive teams. You provide coaching and support to the Senior Librarians (branch managers) through operations and personnel management, and team development. In addition, this manager position will collaborate across departments to foster a customer experience that delivers on DPL's values of Welcoming, Curiosity, Connection, Equity and Stewardship. Our staff come from diverse backgrounds with varied experiences with libraries and we would like to develop internal resources to support our staff in sharing what the library has to offer with our community. You will work closely with subject matter experts to outline the necessary knowledge and skills related to effectively delivering our services to our community. You will work with our Learning and Communications teams, among others, to implement new guidance and to manage change. This role will continue to evolve and there will be opportunities to innovate and grow.

A Master's in Library Science from an ALA accredited institution.
Three years of supervisory experience or three years of experience at an Administrator level.

Although the full salary range for this position is provided, offers depend on qualifications and typically do not exceed the midpoint. The City and County of Denver benefit package will be offered.
The schedule will be determined by the needs of the department and likely will include evening and weekend hours.
