Core responsibilities of this position include:
The Associate Dean of the Ludden Library and Learning Commons (LLC) is a full time, benefitted position responsible for the academic, strategic, and operational leadership of Laramie County Community College’s (LCCC) Ludden LLC. These responsibilities include but are not limited to: plans, organizes, develops, administers and evaluates the functions of the Ludden LLC, which includes academic tutoring services, the Supplemental Instruction Program and Exam Lab. This position is responsible for the performance of the Ludden LLC including information literacy program, planning functions, personnel functions, budget management, teaching, program reviews and assessments, scheduling, and communication and liaison functions. Additionally, the Associate Dean is a member of the Academic Leadership Team (ALT) for LCCC, working in full partnership with other members of the team, as well as other departments, to develop and assess academic programming development and review; supports initiatives such as shared governance and accreditation; facilitates other college, university, and state-wide library partnerships, and acts in the role of a change leader. The Associate Dean provides leadership for department faculty and staff to assure that instructional programs, resources, and services promote the welfare and best interests of students in a manner consistent with the LLC mission and core goals of the College.

Compensation: This is an Administrator Level I position. Starting salary: $86,730.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Library or Information Science from an American Library Association accredited program
- Four years of progressively responsible experience in contemporary library service, including leadership, management, and direct supervisory experience
Preferred:
- Two years of leadership experience including strategic planning, budget development, and project leadership focusing on improvement of library services
