What You'll Do · Conduct eclectic on-line and print research using a broad spectrum of sources. · Provide multiple source analytical products from the analysis of all-source reference materials. · Maintain currency in business and technical areas in order to alert internal customers. · Collect and synthesize information, conduct analyses, and produce written products. · Electronic and print resource management. What You'll Need Knowledge of and experience in electronic research techniques, procedures, and practices. Data mining and information analysis experience preferred. Competitive/business intelligence experience desired. Must be able to rapidly produce analyses on subject research. Must have excellent oral and written communications skills and demonstrate an understanding of the differences among data, information, analysis, and intelligence. Must be able to work effectively in collaborative environments with other analysts. Knowledge of commercial search tools, such as Dialog, Lexis-Nexis, and ISYS, a plus. Familiarity with aerospace industry resources desired (science and engineering literature database experience a plus). Library research background/education/experience a plus. BS/BA in related field is strongly preferred, plus 2 or more years experience. In addition to the typical educational and experience requirements, a demonstrated capability to adequately perform the essential functions and responsibilities of the position and exhibit the skills and competencies of the grade level should be considered. Each higher level degree, i.e. Ph.D. may substitute for two years of experience. Related experience may be considered in lieu of education. Security clearance a plus.
