Job Description
Assist patrons with technical questions concerning the use of computers and accompanying software, digital resources, reading devices including ebook readers and other mobile devices. Provide reference and reader's advisory service. Coordinate programs or services as assigned including scheduling, registration, publicity, preparations, reservations, distribution of program materials, room set-up and clean-up, audience supervision, tracking statistics, etc. Create displays, reading lists, and promotional materials using Google docs or equivalent. Basic navigation of and troubleshooting for other electronic resources. Basic knowledge of popular materials and authors. Work as a team with Public Service and Programming staff.

Additional Info & Requirements
Bachelor's degree and one year experience in library work, OR any equivalent combination in training and experience with extensive public contact.
This position will be generally scheduled Thursdays 8:30am - 3:00pm and rotating Fridays and Saturdays 8:30am - 1:00pm for an average of 11 hours per week during the school year. This position is not benefit eligible.
Days and hours worked may vary and may include days, evenings and weekends.
