Director, North Webster Community Public Library (Indiana)
Don’t miss this opportunity to join a beloved library located in “The Heart of the Lakes” in Indiana! The North Webster Community Public Library is looking for its next great Library Director.
North Webster is located in north central Indiana, within a short drive of Fort Wayne and South Bend. The community is part of the “Lakes Region,” an area of Indiana known for beautiful freshwater lakes and plentiful recreational opportunities. Fishing, boating, and skiing are just some of the activities that attract many summer residents and visitors. North Webster and neighboring communities offer residents a relaxing lifestyle that combines small town charm and energy with easy access to larger metropolitan areas.
The library serves more than 6,600 year-round residents of North Webster and Tippecanoe Township, and double that number in the summer. In July of 2020, NWCPL moved into a beautiful new building that truly embraces its role as a center in the community. The library enjoys the support of an engaged board and friendly staff, as well as a community that appreciates excellent library service.
Salary $60,000 to $70,000/year, negotiable based on experience.
