We are looking for a creative, flexible, and unflappable full-time programming supervisor. You will be responsible for leading a dynamic and creative team of three programming librarians and two creative technologists in planning and coordinating teen, adult, senior, and makerspace programming.

In this job:
- You will engage in collaborative problem solving in a medium-sized municipal library.
- You will work closely with the Public Services Supervisor to assess patron needs and provide exceptional public service at our information desk.
- You will work closely with the Children’s Library Supervisor to provide responsive, cohesive, and sustainable library programming for kids to older adults.
- You will work closely with the Library Program Manager to reopen (currently closed due to COVID19) and manage our very popular 1,200 square foot stand alone makerspace, inventHQ.
Additional Info & Requirements
Training - Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in library science or records/information management or closely related field.
Experience - At least three years of increasingly responsible leadership experience in the assigned area of library work. This experience must also include supervisory or lead work, which demonstrates the ability to perform the Essential Required Tasks.
Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides evidence that the applicant possesses the Necessary Applicant Traits.
Preferred - Bilingual Spanish, Two years of experience leading hands-on maker programming
