Job Description

The Lending Services Evening and Weekend Manager reports to the Head of Access Services. The incumbent provides administrative, operations, and personnel management in the Lending Services unit of the Access Services Department. Responsibilities include supervising and managing 3.0 FTE classified employees and approximately 10.5 FTE part-time student assistants; managing annual student wage budget of approximately $200K; helping to ensure safety and security of library resources and users; understanding and appropriately responding to the needs of library customers; helping manage and oversee public services at the Checkout & Reserves Desk; administering extended hours (24/7) during academic terms, and liaising with UO PD security officers, and managing the maintenance of Knight Library’s physical collection.
