This is a supervisory management position responsible for overseeing collection development, cataloging, returns, shelving, and inventory control including providing oversight for RFID management. Work requires supervising the Materials Management Section, including staff in returns, sorting, shelving, cataloging, acquisitions, materials processing and materials handling. The work involves supervising subordinate staff (comprised of an Assistant Supervisor, professional, paraprofessional and clerical staff), planning and monitoring the work in their assigned service area. The incumbent works under the general supervision of the Assistant Library Director. Some evenings and weekends are required.
