Job Description
The Creative Program Manager is responsible for creating and implementing a regular schedule of programs and events for each library branch location, including researching, contacting, and negotiating with potential program presenters and performers. Monitors programs and prepares all necessary materials. Develops and proposes new programs and special events in response to patron and community requests and needs. Creates and oversees the Summer Reading Program at each branch library. Responsible for all library district social media and print marketing, including regularly updating social media, writing articles for area newspapers, maintaining community contacts, and uploading events onto the website’s calendar. Assists with development of and maintains programming budgets. Reviews/accepts meeting room requests and maintains meeting room schedules for each branch library.
Additional Duties
Performs all duties of Patron Services Clerk as needed; enforces appropriate patron conduct as necessary.
