Join our team at Fitchburg State as our new Instruction and Community Engagement Librarian. We are looking for a highly motivated, collaborative, inclusive and enthusiastic librarian who values an innovative student-centered approach to the development of information literacy skills and embraces the University's commitment to community engagement. This position has a unique focus on local community civic engagement. As a member of the instruction team, they will develop, implement, promote, and assess the Library's information literacy instruction programs for undergraduates and graduate students. They provide research services. They are active members of the Library Liaison program. They participate in collection development.

Minimum Entrance Requirements is a Masters of Library Science (MLS) from an ALA-accredited program or an equivalent Master's degree, such as a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) or Master of Science in Library Science (MSLS) degree, with degree awarded before start date.
