The Access Services Librarian, an exempt staff position, is responsible for managing the onsite Circulation, Course Reserve, and Stacks Management aspects of the Reed Library to support the evolving information, research, and library facility needs of Fort Lewis College students, faculty, and staff and the surrounding community. The Access Services Librarian leads a work group consisting of three Library Technicians (full-time classified staff) and 15-20 student employees. The Fort Lewis College integrated library system (ILS) is part of the Marmot Library Network, which includes a shared catalog.
