Under the supervision of the Library Board of Trustees, the director is responsible for the effective operations of the library system, and the development and implementation of its service programs to include, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:
1) Assist the board with long-range planning, budget and policy development, and managing all library resources, including personnel and an annual budget ($200k/year).
2) Seek, receive, manage, and expend library funds according to established guidelines, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records showing the status of library finances.
